What’s instore for 2015: the year ahead in numbers

I’m fascinated by astrology and numerology and looking into how the current planetary energy is affecting us. For me, 2014 was a year about finding out exactly what I want for myself at a heart level, getting clear and then opening to receive it.

I’ve made it sound quick and easy, but I can assure you that it wasn’t. I went on an interesting journey to really get clear and then let go of what wasn’t in alignment with my heart’s intentions. This took courage and thank goodness I have the tools of the Journey available to me, as I had a bit of ‘getting real’ to do with myself!

My friend Pauline Rose is, along with other healing methods, a qualified Numerologist. Numerology is the study of the symbolism of numbers. It is used to determine a person’s personality, strengths and talents, obstacles, inner needs, emotional reactions and ways of dealing with others.

Numerology is supported both scientifically and mathematically. Pythagoras is known as the ‘father’ of Numerology. He was a philosopher and mathematician who lived in the sixth century BC. Even before that there is evidence that Numerology was used thousands of years ago in China, Greece, Egypt, Italy and Israel.

Based upon Pythagoras’ statement, “The world is built upon the power of numbers,” Numerology became systems of both divination and magic because both systems are based upon the broader concept that the entire universe is composed of mathematical patterns, and all things can be expressed in numbers which correspond to universal vibrations.

Therefore, all things, including names, words, birth dates and birthplaces, are able to be reduced to numbers in order to determine personalities, destinies and fortunes of individuals.

“As a Numerologist, I would look at your date of birth and see what energy your precise year will hold,” explains Pauline.

So as we start a new year, I’m curious to know more about the energy around the year gone by and to what 2015 might have in store for us.

Energy of 2014

“Numerologically, as we leave 2014 this has been a year surrounded by a 7 energy,” explains Pauline. “In numerological terms this means finding time for your own space, reflecting, letting things flow and staying open to possibilities.

“It was a good year for increasing your knowledge and developing your talents, trusting and not pushing. It wasn’t so much a year of action, but more a year to take stock, check your progress and reflect more deeply on things.

Energy of 2015

“2015 is an 8 energy, so a stronger more decisive year. It’s a good time to set new goals. You have a sense of your strengths, and may feel like taking on new challenges.

“8 is about power and control and may bring up money issues. Alternatively, also make sure you manage your money and control your debts. 2015 may bring some tests to see how you react, but you can achieve more than you thought possible. This is a time to think of the future.

“An 8 energy can help you feel strong and confident. It’s good for business and professional activities. It’s a good year for making decisions and for trusting your intuition, a time to face any facts and move ahead. Anything in your past which still have negative effects on you should be dealt with in an 8 year. Any problems consider as opportunities.”

Waves of love and gratitude

Waves of love: the beautiful space my client opened into during her Journey process today. Waves of gratitude: the space I am in as I sit and write this.

It is massively rewarding being able to facilitate openings of Grace like this. I am hugely blessed to do this work. My client went home feeling lighter, happier and shining. I love being a Journey Practitioner; it means I get to bask in this lovely energy with all of my clients.

I have just returned from serving as a trainer at the recent Journey Intensive in London. It was a profound weekend – the energy was on fire. As always, Brandon Bays was absolutely amazing. There is nothing like being in the presence of 100 people who have opened into their own essence.

It made me really proud to be a Journey Practitioner. I worked with many people throughout the course of the two days I was there. Every time I thought the way I was feeling couldn’t get any deeper, I was blown away again and again. It’s a confirmation that bringing this amazing work out to the world is the right thing for me to do.

Although I have attended many Journey Intensives over the past six years, there is still a freshness each time I go. As the energy at the event is so intense, my own Journey processes there are very deep.

I’ve been able to let go of a huge amount of old baggage at a core level of my being. The result is that I feel incredibly still and relaxed. Any tension I had has melted away. Even my shoulders have dropped by a couple of inches. From this place I am more alert and focused.

Nothing can stop the spiritual high. Not even when I got a puncture whilst driving back home on the M4 motorway at the end of the first day of the event! Although we’d been up since 5.30am, my fellow Journey Practitioner friends and I sat laughing and joking whilst waiting for the AA to come and put my spare tyre on.

I am still integrating the whole experience. After any healing work, it is essential that we listen to and nurture our body. This is something I always make clear to my clients. So I have had early nights for the past couple of days and I am grateful for the extra rest.

If my body had words to communicate it would say: “Thank you! Thank you for coming home to your true self and letting me fully shine to the world.”

Good night everyone – I am off once again to rest deeply in the arms of Grace.
